I think that the changes made work very well. The blue used twice and being bright I think makes it stand out and goes well with the masthead. As this part would be consistent every issue it works well because of the yellow and blue's harmonious presence. I think that the 'THE' part works better the right way up as it is easier to read and the bright blue is eyecatching. 'COLLEGE' looks better stretched to fill the whole page because it makes it stand out more and make the magazine less encumbered with lettering. I think that the white works well because there isn't too much of it, but it does make it look a lot more professional and works with the colours in the image.
